Volunteer Development Officer

Summary

This Ends Now is looking for volunteers to join our Volunteer Development team and help shape This Ends Now’s volunteer strategy and training initiatives.

Expectations

Our Volunteer Development Officers will be asked to:

• Help develop and implement This Ends Now’s volunteer strategy

• Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new volunteers

• Aid in the development and conducting of volunteer training

• Work collaboratively within the Volunteer Development Team and the larger organisation

• Attend team meetings 

• Support the aims and objectives of the organisation as a whole

What we’re looking for

Our Volunteer Development Officersshould

• Identify as feminists with an intersectional understanding of gender-based oppression

• Be passionate about dismantling patriarchies

• Have good communication skills

• Be passionate about the spirit of volunteerism and supporting volunteers

• Enjoy teaching and learning, particularly with feminist methods

• Have a desire to work solo and as part of a larger team

• Be passionate about the powerful nature of feminist language
